  • RBWM publishes a six-term structure: Term 1: Tuesday 1 September to Friday 23 October 2026 (39 days); Term 2: Monday 2 November to Friday 18 December 2026 (35 days); Term 3: Monday 4 January to Friday 12 February 2027 (30 days); Term 4: Monday 22 February to Thursday 25 March 2027 (24 days); Term 5: Monday 12 April to Friday 28 May 2027 (34 days); Term 6: Monday 7 June to Wednesday 21 July 2027 (33 days).
  • There are five inset days in 2026-27. One is Tuesday 1 September 2026, the first day of Term 1, so the first pupil day is Wednesday 2 September 2026. The remaining four must be taken within the 195 days and are determined by individual schools.
  • Spring term ends Thursday 25 March 2027. Spring holiday: Friday 26 March to Friday 9 April 2027, with Good Friday on 26 March 2027 and Easter Monday on 29 March 2027.
  • The May Day bank holiday falls on Monday 3 May 2027, during Term 5.
